Our Statement Of Faith

The Christian Wake-Up Call is where Christians can come together and work to put their faith in Jesus into practice. Serving others and sharing the news that salvation is found in Christ alone are two primary ways we plan to put our faith into action. In contrast to popular belief, the Christian Wake-Up Call is not a religious organization or a physical building. Instead, we are a Christian community committed to making a difference in the world through our shared passions for teaching, evangelism, and service. But to help you understand us better, here is a statement of our faith and core beliefs.

We believe the Holy Bible is God’s only inspired, authoritative, and infallible Word.

According to 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21, and Proverbs 30:5, we hold that the Holy Bible is where we can find the truth and wisdom of God. Human authors wrote it, but God inspired it and intends for it to be our final authority as we walk the path of faith. There have been countless generations helped by its reassuring words, encouraging stories, and enlightening lessons.

We believe in the one true, uncreated, eternal God who exists in the three persons of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. There never have been and never will be any other gods.

We are firm believers in the one true, uncreated, eternal God who exists in three persons – the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is a doctrine well-grounded in scripture, such as Matthew 28:19 and Isaiah 43:10. We firmly believe that there are no other gods besides this triune deity and that this will always remain the case.

We believe Jesus is God, who became man through virgin birth and lived sinless while performing many miracles.

Christians everywhere have held the view that Jesus is divine in nature. Because of a miraculous virgin birth, he is both God and man. He led a perfect life to atone for our sins, performed miraculous deeds, and died on the cross. John 1:1, John 1:14, and Matthew 1:18–25 provide scriptural support for this long-held belief.

We believe Jesus was crucified for our sins, died, and was buried.  On the third day, Jesus was resurrected and later ascended into heaven.

Scripture teaches that Jesus came to earth to die on the cross as a sacrifice for humanity’s sins. Then, after His death and burial, He rose from the grave three days later and ascended to heaven. This is a fundamental tenet of Christianity, as evidenced by 1 Peter 2:24 and Acts 2:24.

We believe in the salvation of man, who is sinful by nature, who, by the grace of God, is born again through repentance and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

At its core, our faith is centered around the saving power of Jesus Christ and God’s infinite grace. We believe that by turning away from sin and seeking repentance, each of us can be born again and receive the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 2:8 and Romans 8:11 are just two examples of how Scripture speaks to this truth.

We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, as foretold in Scripture, which enables us to live in accordance with God’s defined will, produce the good fruit of the spirit, and testify on behalf of our Lord and Savior Jesus.

To live a life in harmony with God’s will, we believe that the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is necessary. Because of God’s presence within us, we can bear spiritual fruit and share our faith with the world. The promises and instructions of the Bible give us faith in a brighter future. Acts 5:32; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 2 Timothy 1:14; Ezekiel 36:27; Isaiah 3:11; Galatians 5:22–23; and 1 John 4:2 are all important passages that lend credence to this idea.

We believe in the one True Church of believers united as the body of Christ.

We are one in Christ because we are all members of the true Church. In everything we do, we aim to demonstrate our faith and give God praise due to His name. Our call to spiritual unity, mutual affection, and shared goals is outlined in Romans 12:5 and 1 Corinthians 12:12-13. The world will hear the truth of God’s word and His promises for us as we stand united as powerful witnesses.
